Broken Songs And Light is my first collection of poems, each of which was written in 2007. I’m not one to really go on about my own work too much, but I’m happy with this as my initial entry into the fickle world of publishing, and hope to publish many more collections of this nature in the future. I believe it is a work that would add value to anyone’s poetry collection, however small that value is, so please follow the links beneath to peruse its contents and entertain the thought of buying it. ;)
What others have said about this collection:
“…I am passionate about certain poets (most from my 20th Century Anthology, a treasure from university days). I don’t know much about much, but I do know a little bit about poetry - and for sure know what kind of poetry resonates for me.
e.e. cummings, T.S. Eliot, Theodore Roethke, Ferlinghetti, Leonard Cohen, Robert Frost -and you.”
- Maven
“…just delicious…satisfyingly rich. Without seeming disjointed, every phrase feels like it’s been caressed before being carefully set down, and the effect is almost physical.”
- Sas
“…language so subtle, so smooth, so supple that it seduces the heart, soul and mind of the reader. It also packs the approximate wallop of a Saturn Booster; very powerful, very confident and very, very masculine. No one who even pretends to appreciate poetry can fail to be utterly transfixed and transformed by his genius.”
- Deborah A. Smith
